PARKEN 2017 looked successfully at the parking industry and has already met tomorrow's requirements

Jun 22, 2017

After two intensive event days, PARKEN 2017 closes with a positive result at Karlsruhe, Rheinstetten. The exhibition again proved to be an important platform for the parking industry:

“PARKEN 2017 was a great success,“ summarizes Simone Pfisterer, Vice President at Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH. “1,446 professional visitors informed on-site about a varied product portfolio and latest topics on the pulse of time: Ranging from payment systems to maintenance up to “smart mobility” and further innovative solutions of the future parking industry. Moreover, we are glad, that there was once again a positive spirit at the exhibition booths this year characterized by intense expert discussions.”

Unique business and networking platform

In total, 110 exhibiting companies showcased latest trends, developments and innovations all around planning, construction and operating of on- and off-street parking. The exhibitors look back on a successful show. For Ralf Klomp, Managing Director SKIDATA Deutschland GmbH, PARKEN was again an essential event and a suitable framework for getting in touch with competent visitors and presenting their common path into a digital world with their latest technologies. Very satisfied with his presence at the fair is also Martin Kammler, Managing Director Scheidt & Bachmann GmbH:

“PARKEN 2017 was again a great opportunity for Scheidt & Bachmann to present our product highlights especially in view of smart parking solutions and to widen our existing network of customers, suppliers and co-operation partners.”

“PARKEN exhibition 2017 in Karlsruhe was a complete success for us and it is always a pleasure to see the parking family again, especially as we celebrated our 10th company anniversary this year at PARKEN. Remarkable was the very efficient exchange with our existing and potential new co-operation partners,” concludes Matthias Mandelkow, Managing Direcot sunhill technologies GmbH.

Visitors used the exhibition as a platform for information and networking as well as a basis for investment decisions. Furthermore, PARKEN 2017 provided a comprehensive industry overview and offered the chance to implement the theoretical knowledge of the parallel held conference of the German Parking Association (Bundesverband Parken e.V.) directly at the exhibition.

Conference as the very latest knowledge exchange

With 210 participants the conference records a great success as well. Renowned speakers offered exclusive insights into the future topic autonomous driving and parking. Furthermore, the increasing influence of digitalization and its political significance was discussed.

“The combination of the exhibition and the conference is a very important element for a creative exchange of experiences within the parking branch. At the same time, the course for the future development of the management of the stationary traffic is set here,” explains Gerhard Trost-Heutmekers, Bundesverband Parken e.V.
